OUR MISSION

The Indiana Clubhouse Coalition assists people in their recovery from serious mental illness by fostering, building, and supporting strong certified Clubhouse Model programs and working to create a statewide environment that promotes fidelity to the Clubhouse Model.

  

The Indiana Clubhouse Coalition was founded in 2002 with the intention of strengthening and supporting Clubhouses in Indiana.

We are a blend of certified, non-certified, and start-up Clubhouses representing approximately 1,000 Hoosiers. Certified Clubhouses have been accredited by the International Center for Clubhouse Developement (ICCD).

"The Clubhouse Model provides the practical, day-to-day processes of socialization, productivity and scheduled activities that allow an individual to 'get well.' The synergistic combination of proper medication treatment and Clubhose participation provids the greatest hope that an individual suffering from mental illness will be capable of acheiving his or her highest potential"
